James Kelly a month agoI could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Every step of the way, we were greeted with respect, friendliness and a relaxed professionalism. I went in with three difficult issues related to a SS claim, and the wonderful woman who helped us resolved each one of them with a warm and positive attitude. She was fantastic. Everyone there with whom we interacted with was similarly respectful, polite, clear spoken and helpful! Thank you so much for helping us !
Angelina I 2 weeks agoWorst experience ever. After my daughter’s father died, I called SS to apply for benefits. The first rep told me it would be over the phone appointment. Then on the day of the appointment they called me and told me it can’t be over the phone, I had to come in and bring documents then I could have my phone appointment to establish benefits. So they told me bring back these certain docs and rescheduled my appt for end of June 2026. When I get to the SS office to drop off docs, the rep then tells me, you have to have your appointment over the phone first so they can tell you what docs to bring. Makes no sense and I keep getting the run around. Very disappointing and frustrating. I’m just trying to get benefits for my daughter that needs them. I no longer receive child support so it’s crucial that we get benefits. Her father served in the Army and was receiving SS. Shame this process is not more streamlined and everyone is on a different page.
Barbaro Yera 3 weeks agoToday I accompanied a friend to complete a procedure, and we were assisted by an older employee whose service and attitude left much to be desired. She initially stated that no online application had been submitted, even though it had been completed correctly. As a result, she required the applicant to fill out all the information again, this time on a paper form, causing unnecessary delays and inconvenience. I believe it is important to reinforce the quality of customer service and prevent situations like this from occurring. Everyone deserves to be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism. If an employee lacks the skills necessary to work with the public or is not comfortable in a customer-facing role, it may be appropriate to evaluate whether that position is the right fit. Thank you for taking this feedback into consideration as part of your efforts to improve the experience for all customers.
myesha voice 4 weeks agoI was nervous because I didn't want to be here all day. I had an appointment for 10. I arrived at 9:45. I was in my car at 10:03. The only downside is the security at the door. He was on his phone and acted like he couldn't hear me talking.
Si Johnson 4 months agoI was here today at 9:15am. This place use to get you in and out pretty quickly but not today! The place was completely PACKED!!!! No seats whatsoever! The place was hot. People were sitting on the floors. Then it was people coughing and sneezing the whole time! The security guard was screaming “FIND A SEAT!” “PUT YOUR CELLPHONES ON SILENT!” “STOP TALKING!” 😒 You can hardly hear the people announce ticket numbers and names if you sit near the back because the speakers are not the best. I was not seen until 11:30am! I brought everything I was told to bring over the phone and it was still not enough to obtain my child’s disability benefits. I have been coming here for months and they continue to give me the run around! I miss the old crew from 4 months ago. They helped with my other child and I didn’t have to keep spending the day waiting! The people today were absolutely lazy and incompetent! How is the place still packed from 9am to almost lunch time?! Get people in and out and stop sitting behind those windows chatting! Some man was upset he had to take the whole day off just to bring in some papers! That’s ridiculous and inconsiderate! Do better!
