On February 18th, 2026, my spouse and I had a phone appointment with JESSICA for SSA spousal benefits. JESSICA was exemplary: professional, knowledgeable, very helpful. She is dedicated to public service and we want to commend her and her managers. We ask that her managers recognize her for her work and share this review with her. SSA policy does not allow employees to give out their last names so we can't provide it. Kudos to JESSICA and the Sacramento SSA Office Thank you. Paul & Karen Jacobs

Very bad office for people go to they discriminate mislead misguide misdirect and they don't process things such as dire need in a timely manner they mock humiliate embarrass they also provoke individuals by telling them to come into the office and then when the individual comes into the office they do not help they are very short they hang up the phone there is no specific person over your case that you can speak to you have to speak to several different people getting numerous different answers they will laugh cause for you to suffer not be able to have surgery because you can't get things in order the technical analyst Vong Truong totally misinterpreted what I stated to her and documented that I received money or other income which was untrue the time she put was inaccurate causing for my first initial payment to be really low causing me to be in a vulnerable state no one would help to fix the issue no one would process they dire need and I've just been made a mockery of they've been very negligent I've been told many times you can't file a complaint requested to speak to a supervisor several times no one has ever called back those people in the office that say they are the manager but they're not that the team lead and they have this sense of control and these tactics that they use that trigger people with mental health and physical disabilities there's tons of employees cars parked in the back of the building and there's a few cars parked in the front of the building barely any people inside of the SSA building which shows that they have all ability to process things in a timely manner but they don't intentionally and on purpose causing for my mental health to decline even more and making me wait to have surgery shame on them

I had a really pleasant experience at the Social Security Office. I got there around 8:45 AM without an appointment and was number 15 in line. I waited about 25 minutes before I was called-not bad at all! Melissa helped me, and she was super friendly and kind. Even though I was supposed to have an appointment to apply for a Social Security number, she let me fill one out online and still processed everything for me since someone had canceled that morning. Really appreciate her help. Thanks so much, Melissa!

By far the best SSA in the Sacramento area if you need a SSN interview appointment urgently. Just make sure you have a proper reason and proof for urgency.

I honestly already have a problem with waiting outside in a line of 89 people .Security is very unprofessional they act like they are top security force When they aren't nothing .big attitudes small gentile. You can expect to sit there and wait for up to 4 hrs before being helped . Completely insane
