My experience at this location has been consistently frustrating. Wait times regularly exceed two hours, with little to no communication from staff about delays. There is also a complete lack of consistency in the process. One day you are told appointments are required, the next day you are told they no longer take appointments. It creates unnecessary confusion and makes planning nearly impossible. To make matters worse, staff are often not present at their service windows, and the number display system does not update properly, leaving customers unsure of when or if they will be helped. This location feels like a complete thief of time. The customer service is subpar and the overall experience is disorganized. If you can avoid this location, I strongly recommend doing so. If you cannot, be prepared to wait a very long time with little guidance or support.

My experience at this SSA office was disappointing due to repeated communication and service issues. On my first visit, I had an appointment and applied for my SSN card. I was informed it would be mailed to me, but it never arrived. I returned a month later and requested to pick it up in person, but I was told it could only be sent by mail. Unfortunately, it still did not arrive. On my third visit, I was informed that the card could not be reissued and that I would need to go to another office in Pennsylvania to resolve the issue, which was confusing and inconvenient. I asked to speak with a supervisor, but no practical solution was offered, despite having all required documents and approaching the situation respectfully. Add to all that, they never answer the phone! I tried to call them multiple times in different times early morning and afternoon and waited on line more than two hours but no one answered! Eventually, I visited a different SSA office in another area without an appointment. They immediately understood the problem, were professional and helpful, and issued a new card for me to pick up directly from their office. The contrast in service quality was very noticeable. My recommendation, If you experience difficulties at this location, consider visiting another SSA office for more efficient and professional service.

I went to get a non-eligibility letter yesterday, but the lady with short hair at window 2 gave me the wrong document. When I went to the MVA today, I found out the document from the Social Security office was incorrect, so I had to return to the Social Security office again today. I was then assigned to window 3, and that lady gave me the correct document. What is the lady at window 2 even doing in that position if she doesn’t know which documents to provide? Also, I had to wait for more than two hours, and they didn’t even call me. I had to go to the window two or three times before they finally took me in. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had.

This is the worst office in Baltimore city. The staff is very NONSHALLANT. They seem to enjoy seeing others struggle to get what is rightfully theirs. Couldn't get any information that can be considered helpful. The worst staff members. The more you go there the more you will get to see how many people work there meaning every person will tell you something different. The women there are very obnoxious. The only truthful information that anyone has told me there is the time they get off of work that is the only information I have learned that is very ACCURATE.

Relatively quick for a SSA office. Especially considering there was only one windows working and the visual numbers were not correct.
