I came just before it opened at 9:00a.m. There was a short line with a security guard offering information to each person as he greeted them. A nice woman came out to assist us with the electronic system. She asked each person a few questions to determine how to best help each of us. This process went well and fast. After getting our tickets, the guard explained the next stage which involved looking at the screen for where to go for assistance. Soon a listing appeared. I couldn't understand, but the guard was helpful until most of us figured it out. My best description is it's like going to the DMV and waiting for your number among others. Nobody knows why you or there or why you got a number or some letters, but it doesn't actually make sense watching it. You just need to be patient with the process and know it is working as it should. My ticket number came up within 15 minutes of opening. This provided time to show kindness to others trying to figure out what they needed. I was just confused and need to understand their process. The lovely woman helping me was kind, patient, and very helpful. I didn't really know what I needed to ask, but her questions got us to what I needed. She spoke about what she could, but the system is not in her control and she limited her comments based on these realities. She also offered a pen to me to write things down. Tips- I had not thought of what I needed. Pen and paper to write things down. Identification with picture. Any relevant documents you have related to why you are there bring. I noticed people who had these, didn't get a return visit notice. The staff can look up some information, but not all. Good practice to keep a copy of your process, no matter how long or how many trips is t takes to resolve your situation. The nice women and the guard who helped me turned my fears of this process into a very pleasant experience. I have been to other offices where this was not the case and why I decided to come here. Nice people. Treat them well. Government employment is stressful these days, but these professionals shined! Gold stars to your team.

My experience at the SSA office Camp Creek was extremely pleasant all thanks to Ms. Farmer! She greeted me with a huge smile from ear to ear the second I got to the window & was very polite. She was able to address all my questions & complete my request. The entire interaction was entirely smooth & took less than 10 minutes. Thank you so much, Ms. Farmer!

How do you describe Amazing ..Ms GRAHAM she is par excellence her customer service approach is far above anyone at any social service agency, she is the best at what she does and I am in awe of her efficiency and commitment. I went to the Social Security office to get some answers on my case and I met the wonderful Ms Graham. Not only was she kind and attentive, she was so thorough in correcting discrepancies in my case. I was so pleased with the care she provided. Ms Graham is an asset to the Social Security Administration and hope she gets all the accolades she deserves .Ms Graham you are an absolute angel.Thank you

Big shoutout to Desk E&F — the tall dark-skinned gentleman, the light-skinned gentleman with glasses and a short haircut, and the security guard with glasses , short haircut! I came in with all my original and correct documents to change my name after getting married, and the entire process took literally 3 minutes. The customer service was TOP TIER. I felt welcomed, my concerns were heard, and everything was handled with professionalism and kindness. I even went to the wrong location on the wrong date, and they STILL made a way to see me! They absolutely could have turned me around, but instead they chose grace and efficiency. Thank you all so much for your kindness and excellent service — it truly made my day! 👏🏽✨ Don’t go to morrow , come here! Make sure you have your original documents( NO COPIES) & appointment is needed for service at all Social Security locations.

After an unpleasant phone call with the National SSA office to inquire about applying for spousal benefits, i waited two months for a phone appointment with the “local” office, and i was girding my loins for another difficult conversation, but instead I got a call from Mr. Cole in the Atlanta West office and he was extremely pleasant, efficient, and very helpful. He gave me very specific instructions about the last piece of documentation he needed and the timetable i needed to follow to get it to him. With the help of my LOCAL (Statesboro) office my original marriage license was verified and uploaded the same day. Maybe we’re just nicer in Georgia. I am grateful for Mr. Cole in the Atlanta West office and Mrs. Woodcock in the Statesboro office.
