⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Exceptional Service at the SSA! I had a 3:30 PM appointment at the Social Security Administration and arrived a bit early at 3:18 PM. To my surprise, I was already back in my car by 3:23 PM — that’s efficiency you don’t see every day! The representative who helped me, Alisa, was outstanding — friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient. I went in to request a replacement Social Security card, and they told me it would arrive within 14 days. Imagine my surprise when it showed up just 5 days later! I visited the office on a Wednesday and had the new card in my hands by the following Monday. If only the DMV could take a page out of SSA's playbook, we'd all be in much better shape. Kudos to the SSA and especially to Alisa for providing such a smooth, hassle-free experience!

I needed a replacement card and the appointments were over a month out, so I just came by when they opened, on a Wednesday. Scan the QR code on the sign outside to check-in and find a spot to wait. There are some seats inside, or you can wait in your car for the text message. It was nice, so I just waited outside. The lot was so full, I had to park across the street, but at least it was shady. My whole visit, including the wait time was about 40 minutes. Clerk was very knowledgeable and processed my request quickly.

Had paperwork I just needed to drop off and of course they do not have a drop box at this location like the website says you can use when the office is close or on weekends. Received mail on Friday with a Monday deadline to return and of course they will not receive in time using the post office to mail back.

Ciara hung up on me after I asked her to explain why I needed an appointment to report to ssa that my ssdi payments did not come through for multiple months.

I was surprised with the level of service at the Social Security Administration. Initially dreading my visit, but the staff proved me wrong. They were not only incredibly helpful but also worked with a speed I didn't expect. They handled the request of my replacement card flawlessly and made the entire process stress-free. It's a fantastic model for other agencies to follow.
