If I could give zero stars I would. Had an appointment at 1:40. It is now 2:40 and still waiting. Why even make appointments when you have to wait hours past your appointment. Also, fix your speaker. It’s very muffled. Surely you guys can do better.

I was in and out in a jiffy. Guard was respectful and welcoming. The representative that assisted me was courteous and efficient. This was a Friday afternoon appointment (3:30). I arrived a little before 3:30 pm, I was out by 3:31 pm. The online system for setting up appointments was user-friendly, with timely reminders and updates.

As of 01/23/2026 you can walk in for changing a deposit or to change an address, or for the drop box. That's it. Had issues with the bank but a nice lady from this SSA office told me about those options. Arrived 20 minutes early and was at a desk by 9:19, out by 9:22. Process was smooth. The manager was nice, jovial, and direct. The security guard was nice, helpful, and approachable. Good spirits in the morning. The only trouble I have had in the past was calling for an appointment, due to wait times. You're best off calling in the morning, maybe on a day off if possible. Those appointments are always a minimum of 2-3 weeks from you're call date, so keep that in mind.

The sign states, "Please let us know if you need urgent assistance." No I didn't have an appointment, but shame on you. My children are at risk of identity theft and I cant take any action until I get a replacement card for them. It takes 30 days from the time I request an appointment to the time I recieve the cards. Then another 30 to file paperwork requesting a freeze and a report for each child. Thats 60 days for the cards to change hands and be used, potentially destroying their future. I cant file for identity theft until I have proof and its 60 days away. You people may not want to work late but you didn't even bother to listen or give any compassion whatsoever. God have grace for you all. Id hate to know what you would consider worthy of urgent assistance. Just a fun fact identity theft takes years to clear up. Years, lawyers, courts, and a headache that noone asked for when they get robbed. Have a nice life.

Sometimes you have to go through situations that take days and even weeks of stress, but it shouldn’t be like this with government institutions. My daughter was born 3 months ago, and at the hospital we requested her Social Security card, which they said should be sent by mail, but it never arrived. After going to USPS for days, we realized they never sent it. Now we are applying for a new one, and at this office, after an appointment, they told us we have to present her vaccination records for some reason, even though my daughter is already in the system and we brought all the required documents, including her birth certificate. One of the staff members, whose name I couldn’t see, treated us very badly and didn’t want to help us. She told us with a bad attitude that we have to bring a letter from the pediatrician authorizing this process and that we need to make another appointment, which is in 2 months. Honestly, sometimes I don’t understand how things work in this country. Thank you, have a blessed day and one more thing. I speak English and Spanish perfectly, but for these kinds of things I prefer my native language cuz i don't wanna make mistakes. The lady who assisted me did not want to request a translator by phone, even though on the screens while waiting for my number it says that we have the right to request a Spanish translator
