Yesterday was 92 degrees outside and humid , I walked down to Social Security office after traveling MBTA two separate trains to Fields Corner . It is a long walk in heat especially disabled. I got there at 3:27 and security gaurd Manuel he said I think Eagle Security badge on his arm . A liar inpatient and lazy . He wanted make sure he able to leave 4 pm on the dot . I he stopped me before entering asking if I have an appointment I said no I he said exactly I can’t be seen unless I have an appointment. I said that’s not true because on phone I was told to come in between 8-4 pm . He lazily pointed to sign on wall told me call that number. I said I need to drop something off and make appointment then . He said I couldn’t to call number or scan barcode on sign before entering. He said I can drop papers in drop box now . I said can I at least get envelope , sit cool for minute use fountain get drink water while I fill out envelope he reminded me they are closing . I said yes in another half hour . He let me in finally. Nice guy during heat advisory. While he paced back and forth back and forth . Couldn’t sit still. That’s why I could tell he anxiously watching clock to get a drink or fix it seemed like addiction issue to me . There was one another foreign woman older than me , shuffling to walk he turned away also . One woman right after who he allowed to enter her ssi number in kiosk machine and she was called right away bc empty. No one else came in . I asked if I can go ask question, or make appointment he said no . He lied and said he already asked for me and I couldn’t. I said NO YOU didn’t I have been sitting here entire time watching you bouncing off the walls and you never once went to window or asked anyone anything. . I put my papers in the drop box and the man working saw me turn around and ask the security why he would lie . I just have a question he again said they closing in 14 minutes. I said I was here at 3:30 30 minutes. Pointed to sign again . I said I can read it , can you . I read it out loud. Those with appointments to have a seat and wait until they are called after check in for a number . For those without appointments may have a longer wait CONSIDER calling main number make appointment. I said I considered it and I don’t mind waiting. I asked him if he knew rules or first day . The man that was working saw me called me over . So I put my number and got to finally ask my question.

I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment and wrapped up my appointment in 10 minutes. Quick and easy and the staff was friendly.

I brought my wife here to get her social security card, the attendant was mad because we came to this location instead of one in Rhode Island and he was right because he spelt my wife's name wrong. I brought my client here on an appointment given to us, We got here they were closed while it states they're open online.

People who work here are cold, rude and bothered. The security officer was highly helpful and respectful however. Par for the course really.

Very rude and disrespectful it seems like no one likes there job in that office the employees act like they don't want to be at work the Freeport office is a joke they need new staff
