Took several weeks to get an appointment. But once I got the appointment and I showed up, the service was great. The security guards were really nice and the lady inside was very nice too. It took less than 2 mins. The inside was clean and well maintained. The offices looked great. The bathrooms were clean as well. The outside could use a big makeover/renovation. If you’re planning on coming here, make sure you show up on time!

Whoever is running this office is doing an amazing job. The office was clean. The personnel was attentive and they had that cyst and so streamlined and very efficient. I was in and out of there within 15 minutes. Perhaps manager for this office is gonna implement their program and all the other locations

The Social Security Administration is an administration that works with the poor, with disabled individuals, with sick people, and with retirees—in their vast majority elderly people who cannot fend for themselves and who need assistance from either a social worker or a family member because they have no access to email or to smart systems in general. It is completely unacceptable how these individuals are treated. The staff in these offices—not all, but the majority—are very hostile. They treat people with poor attitudes and zero humanity when they come in with any kind of problem. I accompany my grandfather because he can’t fend for himself, and I went to both the Hialeah and Miami Gardens offices for a small issue that needed adjustment, and I couldn’t resolve it in either office. On top of that, they give appointments so far out that it caused my grandfather to lose all his benefits. He ended up in a sort of limbo, losing medical appointments, health insurance, and medication—he is a 92-year-old man. That is completely unacceptable and inhumane. I also want to highlight that the error made with my grandfather was due to the poor work of the person who assisted him in his very first appointment, which triggered all the subsequent problems. This means that besides treating people poorly, they are also doing a very bad job.

My process was quick and seamless. I needed a name change after getting married. I went online and had to fill out an application before requesting an appointment. If you call, they will put you on hold for 2 hours and then tell you, you don't need an appointment but it's much faster if you do. My appointment was 3 business days after I submitted my application. I went on a Wednesday and the appointment was at 2:10pm. I arrived at 2:02pm (plenty of parking), did the mobile check in, got my ticket inside, and sat down. By 2:18pm, my number was called. It was pretty full and I went before plenty of folks who were already waiting. Hope this helps!
