When I visited this Social Security office in Florida, my experience was excellent. The employee who assisted me at window 8, Olga, a Russian-speaking employee, was highly professional, very experienced, and speaks English fluently. She reviewed my case, confirmed that my documents were correct, and completed the entire process in approximately four minutes. I want to give this employee 5 stars specifically—she is a true professional. I truly bless her, and I sincerely hope that everyone who comes here is fortunate enough to be assisted by her. The difference in professionalism was very clear. Olga knew exactly what she was doing, handled the case correctly, and demonstrated exceptional knowledge and competence. Before meeting her, I had a negative experience with the security guard, who was unprofessional and unclear in their instructions, which could easily confuse applicants. I want to express sincere appreciation to Olga, the Russian-speaking employee, for her professionalism, efficiency, and skill. I wish there were more employees like Olga, and I sincerely wish her all the very best. At the same time, I believe some other staff members could improve, as unclear communication can make the process unnecessarily difficult for applicants. I hope this review helps others who may be experiencing similar difficulties. Sometimes the outcome depends entirely on reaching the right specialist who understands the process correctly.

Seamless as long as you make an appointment online in advance. They do not allow anyone inside without an appointment, which is great to maintain the peace inside the building. I even showed up 40 min late and they still honored my appointment. The facility is clean, plenty of parking, workers respectful, and the waiting area is quiet so that you can wait for your turn in peace. Waited maybe 20-30 minutes and it took 5 minutes to make the updates that I went there for. Great experience.

This location is by far one of the most unprofessional and inconsiderate offices I have ever experienced. The complete lack of compassion toward elderly people is disgusting. My 87-year-old grandmother had an early appointment, so we arrived around 6:00 AM and stood in line with many other elderly individuals. Some of these people could barely stand. When the staff started arriving around 9:00 AM, instead of opening the doors and helping the long line of people waiting outside, several employees stood around laughing and chatting while elderly people struggled to remain standing. The doors were opened almost 30 minutes late, which shows how little they care about the people they serve. Once inside, the attitude only got worse. Staff were rude, dismissive, and completely lacking basic customer service skills. When our number was called, my grandmother walks very slowly because she is 87 years old, yet they quickly called another number before we could even reach the window. When we got there, we were told “your number was already called.” No understanding, no patience, no respect. After waiting nearly three hours, we were then told we were at the wrong location and they could not help us. After making an 87-year-old woman stand outside for hours, that response was absolutely unacceptable. The problems didn’t even start there. When my grandmother called before the appointment, the person on the phone was incredibly rude. Because my grandmother briefly forgot her birth date, the employee said “If she can’t remember her birthday, I can’t help her,” and then hung up on her. That level of disrespect toward an elderly person is beyond shameful. This office desperately needs: Staff retraining on basic professionalism and compassion Better accommodations for elderly individuals, such as seating outside Employees who actually care about the people they serve It is shocking that a government office serving vulnerable populations operates this way. For comparison, the Biscayne location was completely different the staff there were kind, patient, and helpful. Unfortunately, this location is the exact opposite. Something seriously needs to change here.

The waiting time is horrible so always try to get an appointment if it's not urgent but the lady at Window 17 is super sweet where she made that time felt like nothing. Her presence is very welcoming where she make you feel at ease before opening your mouth to state why you are here. Very nice lady!! We need more like her especially in a stressful time.

I recently visited the Social Security office, and honestly, I do not know why I went. It was a complete waste of my time. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome and unsupported. The security guards at the entrance were not helpful at all. They were mostly on their phones and didn’t take the time to acknowledge or guide me properly. It already set a bad tone for the visit. When I finally met with the representative, things didn’t get any better. She was not helpful, didn’t seem interested in assisting me, and made me feel like I was bothering her just by asking questions. I went there looking for information regarding a deceased family member, hoping for some clarity and guidance, and instead, I walked out feeling flustered, frustrated, and disappointed. This experience was very discouraging, especially considering the importance of the services this office is supposed to provide
