When I first entered two gentlemen that were security guards POLITE and RESPECTFUL. I complied when they needed to search my child’s bag. They were doing their JOB! After went to check in and got my number. Sat I went with a child plenty of room to sit. We waited at least no more than 15mins. Lady at the window was professional and kind. Was out less than 30 minutes. My experience was surprisingly good! So if you have a bad experience here… you probably don’t have an appointment or not respectful to these people that are already short staffed.

They constantly are telling u to go online. Some things (too many in my opinion) need an appointment which they want you to go online for. In the past I have had trouble verifying myself through ID.me and I have now a case for benefits pending so I am not allowed to get a statement online or get other info, "at this time" forcing me to go into the office because before when I have tried calling them on the phone the wait has been over 3 or 4 hours -- enough to run the phone battery down. Once u get helped they are usually great. Prepare to spend 1hr- 1hr 35 min or maybe more. Lunch seems to be 11am -11:45

The workers are nice, but the security guy playing cop working way to hard for his wage 😂😂😂 I thought he was about to bust out of his overly tight clothes every time someone ticked him off. He was lying and telling people it was a 2 hour wait. Not true! Just wait even if you come in at 3 you’ll be perfectly fine!!!

Horrible people, wasted 2 hours of our time. When connected to a call we had someone cut on us twice for no reason. Then when we finally had someone to talk to she didn’t know what she was doing. Proceeded to talk with an attitude her name was senutius.

I don't normally leave reviews... and honestly I highly doubt anybody there cares (so I guess this review is mainly for those that need to go to SSA for some reason and deciding on which branch). I know they (as in SSA) had staffing cuts so everything is appointment-only based (although the times I've been there recently it seems there were walk-ins but it probably just depends on the situation). Don't use the phone # listed here (or you can but it's the general one), go to the ssa website and search for the field office to find the correct #. I had to call and make multiple appointments for both me and my mom. Honestly, even though they are understaffed, all the workers in the office I interacted with, the guards, and most of the reps on the phone I've talked to have been kind and professional. However, there is one phone rep (and I'm pretty sure it's the same rep) who is... just rude. Like, everytime I talk to this specific rep it's very obvious her purpose is to get you off the phone as quick as possible, preferably without an appointment. Maybe that's from her higher ups, I don't know. They are booked 8 weeks out and have limited appointments, so maybe she's just vetting based on reason... Anyways, I'm sorry if you get the rude rep, but otherwise, once you make your appointment, you get to the appointment no earlier than 15 minutes, go through a bag check (no weapons and drugs), can go to the kiosk to check in (while appointments don't have to, it's still good to get a ticket just in case), and wait for your name/number to be called.
