Been here twice in the past 5 years. Both times I was only one of two people waiting to be helped. Highly recommend arriving first thing in the morning or right after the lunch hour. Was in and out within 30 minutes.

I should have written this last month, I needed some paperwork from SSA. On December 22 I rushed to this office which closes at 4, through miscalculation I took the subway instead of the #4 bus, not realizing that the subway stop was 3 blocks south. I use a cane but booked there from the stop. I arrived shortly after closing as the guard was letting the last customer out, I pleaded that I just needed a printout of my award letter for 2023. She let me in and I took a seat in front of the last employee there. I breathlessly explained my need and he very courteously printed out my letter. I thanked him profusely and left. I always have a good experience at this SSA office. Thanks again for all your help that day.

You must wear a face mask in this place. They were very helpful this time as opposed to last time I was here.

I wanted to try to get social Security early from my husband married 43 years and not together 16 years and they won't tell me how much anything is no matter what I say is always 150 dollars so I guess that's the going rate $150 if you work don't work if you get it early $150. they don't explain nothing to you ! They talk to you like I had third-grade education !
