Arrived at office 11 am , completed registration acknowledging that I did not have an appointment and receive a ticket indicating my place in line. Two hours later my number was called and advised to go to window # 5. In window 5 staff advised me that SS does not help walk ins after 9 am.

Went without appointment for new SSN. Was out by 9:15a. Make sure you reach there early by 8am as line starts outside the building. When we reached there were already 10 people ahead of us in line. Security guard was very nice and handed tokens at 8:40 and we entered the building at 8:50 and were the first to be seen as they have over 20 windows. Very fast and efficient. Be there early (close to 8a) if you don’t have an appointment

Just excellent. All government offices should learn how to handle a big tax payer crowd respectfully. Each and every staff is just excellent. I reached at 830am without an appointment and was served within 1 hour. What else you can expect from a government office. Thanks everyone who is working in this office.

Great and amazing service at SSA Grand Prairie. I went today to the office without appointment. I was assisted quickly and my entire process was completed in 20 minutes. The staff is polite, knowledgeable and incredibly respectful. Five stars well deserved

The SSA office was very efficient and welcoming. The help desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process. I went without an appointment but had already filled out the application online. The office opens at 9:00 AM, and I arrived around 8:40. Everything was completed smoothly, and I was done successfully by 9:30. Great experience overall!
