Karen Eckenrode 2 weeks agoDid most information needed to apply so SS benefits for retirement, than notify me stating need copy of drivers license to bring to office , but would not let upload picture nor provide online information, nor allowed to send copy. Understandably people have appointments but for something as simple to take copy of drivers license should not take an hour. Upon arrival , there was 5 people in waiting area and over intercom stated a supervisor would come out I have yet to see one . Why don’t they have certain people to do easy job positions such as taking a drivers license copy ??? Now there are atleast 20 people here . Need tech assistance person to handle this information needed.
Kal A P 4 months agoGreat service and punctuality. Husband had an appointment and we got there on time. At the entrance, representatives explained the entire process and made sure there was proper order. We were given a token number. Lady officer at desk, who took our case allowed us both to get our documents verified. The entire process was smooth and streamlined. Thank you.
Normandy Lunghi 4 months agoI had an appointment today at this location. I had such a wonderful experience! The security guard who checked me in and the lady who helped me at bay 10 were so incredibly nice and actually made meaningful conversation. Only waited about 15 minutes. Highly recommended this location.
Zhu Charles 3 months agoThey open at 9 AM. I arrived with my father at 8:50 AM. There were about 10–20 people already in line, and we queued up at the very back. Then we heard a man who claimed to be a supervisor loudly announcing up front that they had a backlog of more than 400 cases to process. He said that anyone without an appointment who was there to apply for a Social Security card or to replace a Social Security card might have to wait over four hours. He also told people not to ask questions or disturb the security guards. But I wasn’t there to apply for or replace a Social Security card—my situation didn’t match any of the cases he described at all. So I had no idea what I was supposed to do. My father had applied for retirement benefits online, and the system told him he needed to submit some additional documents. I called them to try to make an appointment, but the staff said they couldn’t find my ZIP code, so they couldn’t book one and told me I had to go in person. I stepped forward just to ask how we should handle our specific situation. The security guard immediately stopped me and wouldn’t let me explain anything—he just told me to go back to the queue. I then tried to speak to the supervisor, but he also refused to let me describe my situation or ask my question and simply told me to return to the line. My father had been waiting in the queue the whole time. I only needed to know how to proceed with our case. Even after I told the supervisor that our situation was different and that I only needed two minutes to ask my question, he still gave me no chance at all and made me either go back to the queue or leave. I want to say: This is a government agency that is supposed to serve the people—why can’t they spare even two minutes to listen to a citizen’s question? It made me feel like I was begging them to help me. It was an absolutely terrible experience and terrible management. In the end, my father and I stayed in line, got our number, and finished everything by 10:20 AM. What was the basis for him claiming it would take over four hours? Was he just trying to push the crowd off to other offices? It was an extremely bad experience. Is this how they “serve the people” and show their attitude? Very disappointed.
TK 2 months agoWhat a motley crew of people showing up to this place 🤣. First off the lady at booth 12 a little after 9am was great. But showing up outside before 9 was a clown show. Someone posted a picture of the guy down below. Big boy thinks he's something else. Now I must say I do feel bad for him and everyone else that must be out front because the crowd made me feel like I was in a walmart. All starts off with him barking orders getting people to stand on a line like we are in kindergarten. Then big boy gets mad at someone on the phone. Now the guy on the phone something was wrong with him because I noticed him immediately when I arrived. I don't know ifche was drunk or just a 65 IQ or both. But Big boy could have beenxa little nicer to the guy. Big boy definitely came across being rude and the guy on the phone was not going to put up with it. Unfortunately it turned into a shouting match with armed guards and the man yelling he had a gun also. Thought seriously that there was about to be a shooting there and I almost stepped in and neutralized the threat myself to protect my wife. I know the guards had to show restraint but I do not. Well the guy left and everything was ok after that but everyone there needs to be a little better trained in customer service. 2 star reviews on this place
