Well, I waited on the phone patiently, knowing it would certainly take a while to get through. The “robot” told me 70 minutes, with the option of getting a call back, and FIRST being notified by text that they would be returning my call close to my time in the phone wait line.. They had the correct phone number btw~ So, 3 hours later I finally received a callback, no text message telling me beforehand as stated, ~ I answered, a woman said hello and identified herself ~I said hello back and guess what? She promptly hung up on me.Then, clearly a bit frustrated, I called back, and was told there would now be an 80 minute wait, and 2 hours later I was still waiting. I understand that there is a vast demand here for phone communication, but the customer service situation I experienced today was not only completely unacceptable but very very unprofessional I work a job also, and my time is not less valuable than anyone else’s. Disgraceful service Do better

Walk-ins are accepted. The wait time was short, and the procedures were handled quickly. The security guard was helpful; the female staff member at the reception was polite and provided excellent assistance. The staff member at Counter 12 was an extremely pleasant lady—highly understanding, highly competent, and quick to resolve issues. Thank you for the fast and professional service!…

Ms. Gainous is the best; hopefully, I'm spelling her name correctly. She is very kind and thorough. She helped me correct some errors I had on my SSN. I’m glad there are still nice people in this world—it gives me hope.

No appointments are required, walk-ins are accepted. This place is very quiet and spacious. The intake is fast and you’ll be done with what you came here for in a matter of seconds. They have a bathroom. The staff is welcoming & accommodating. It’s almost like a hidden gem because rarely do SSA offices ever be quiet and empty!

Yikes…just got here. Was told not to sign in that the lady would check me in. Watched the lady go to a couple people and tell them to leave or make an appt. And tell people she only had one staff member on had to help a bunch of people who were already there. Why is there no line? Feels like chaos. This place is :/
