I recently had to update my Social Security status and, to my surprise, learned that I should have done so quite some time ago… I’m grateful that I had my appointment with Mr. Teixeira at Window 29. He truly went above and beyond to explain everything clearly and assist me in a quick and extremely efficient manner. It comes as no surprise to me that other reviews state the same- Mr. Teixeira is a highly skilled professional and a wonderful addition to the federal building. His knowledge, patience and professionalism made what could have been a stressful process remarkably smooth. Such a pleasant experience! May God bless the person you are, Mr. Teixeira! Thank you for your outstanding service.

I got taken care by Mr. Teixeira today at the window 29, and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve been trying to update my social security information for almost a year and wasn’t successful at all due to the lack of information from so many ends, including the main phone line. I drove from out of state to get all my information fixed and I’m glad I did, because I got to finally have all my questions answered and he was able to resolve everything. It was such a pleasure to have him taking care of my case. He was very pleasant, kind, patient and professional. It was great to have someone able to speak multiple languages. That made the process way easier to me. I would highly recommend him in the future to help anyone.

My experience was frustrating until I met Mr. Teixeira at Window 29. I visited the Social Security office on 123 William Street in New York three times without being able to change my name. Each time, I received no clear explanations, only requests for additional documents and instructions to schedule another appointment. However, today was different, April 16. Although I was still unable to complete the name change to match my immigration documents, But I finally received clear, thorough explanations and precise guidance on the next steps, including exactly which documents are required. Mr. Teixeira, thank you for your patience, professionalism, and dedication. We truly need more people like you. I hope that next time I return, I’ll be able to complete the process and have the chance to be assisted by you again.

My bf and I are from NJ and decided to set up an appointment in Manhattan. Luckily we had the pleasure to be at Mr. Teixeira’s window. Let me tell how he was absolutely amazing! He was extremely professional, attentive and so much fun. He had our issue solved within minutes while talking to us about fun things in life. I truly hope when you go to the SC building, you have the luck that we had to meet Mr. Teixeira! We are forever thankful for his great work, super positive and energy, professionalism and great sense of humor! PS: He has his whole window decorated with international pictures! Love it! 😍

Horrible service at the reception on the ground level. Attitude, unpleasant behavior, plain rudeness for no reason. Now inside the 3rd floor: the security officer was short, direct and helpful. Told everyone to fill out a form before going to the windows, showed everyone where we could get forms and pens. Got my number called and went to window 29 with Mr. Texeira. He was beyond helpful, kind, extremely polite and a delightful professional to deal with. Although I walked in with a bad taste in my mouth due to the experience in the lobby, he was able to change that bad experience into a great one. Kudos to Mr. Texeira for being a wonderful professional and human being. To the administration: please talk to someone in the building to review that reception clerks because under no circumstances no one should be getting attitude when asking information to a facility and getting eyes rolled, rudeness and lack of respect. Highlight of my visit: Mr. Texeira! Hands down!
