I have lived in many states, but I have never seen the rudeness of the people in the location. Not the guards. Just the office personal. I had an appointment at 10: 45 for my newly adopted kids, I had waited on hold to make this appointment for hours. To come here and then it not being on her appointments for today!! Mind you I received a call yesterday reminding me of it!!! There is no reason for her to be rude!!

Call to make sure I can walk-in and get my daughters SS card because I am from TX but working out of state and need it asap. Was told yes I can walk-in but when I arrive they said no, I need an appointment! Single father working M-Sa 6am-5pm on the pipeline and daughter stays with grandparents for the time Im gone, how am I supposed to get her card if the information the SSA gives is incorrect???? Terrible!!! As always, a government office is no help! Update Feb 5, 2026: On hold with their local number for 30min, man picks up the phone, says hello and within 3seconds hangs up! Piece of crap!

Spent 3 hours over 2 days waiting to see someone, finally have up and left. Their website doesn't recognize my phone number since I lost my old phone. So I can't create a new account through IDme or SS office, frustrating as hell!

I had a great experience at the Social Security Administration! Needed to have address changed for my Dad. And it just went smoothly! The office lady was so nice. I am glad I scheduled an appointment.

I file 10/29/2024 for disability I had a triple bypass after a heart attack and have CAD and a broken back. I still do not even have an examiner. I was informed by the woman on the phone they have 11 people that do the reviews and have not been able to hire anymore since 2023. How is this right? How is that fair? How is it people that need disability can’t get help when the government won’t let people be hired to help. So people lose everything because of it if they have no support person. Ridiculous do better.
