My family member had been going online trying to obtain a copy of her card for months! She got so frustrated and just stopped! I thought she was joking or just procrastinating! Then one day I sat with her and tried entering her information online with her by my side, and I also ran into the same error messages that she was getting all the many attempts before! (Of course I apologized!) So I called the phone number and held for 30 minutes until a guy came on the line that did NOT sound too sure of the instructions he was giving me himself. (I should have taken that as a sign!) He started out saying that I needed an appointment, to advising me to drop off copies of her information in a drop box, to encouraging me to stop by my nearest facility to speak to a live representative! 😵‍💫 So, I Googled the nearest location, drove across town, got a number from the kiosk, met the nicest security guard EVER, and then I sat in the waiting area for 30 minutes as I played games on my phone... Only to be told that they do NOT accept walk-ins nor photo copies of ANY kind, and that their next appointment available was a MONTH away!!! 😖 LORD HELP ME to think nice words & thoughts about the young man that was on the phone! 🙏🏾

Review written 12/18/2025. They asked me if I’ve been recently incarcerated, like what? lol No, not everybody who does vocational rehab has been to prison Staff needs more training Errors made by staff: 1) they told me that I don’t have SSDI. yes I do! And in fact my disability is an automatic qualifier by the government. He tried to tell me I have “disability” not SSDI. Wrong!!!!!! u can’t even get cancer in this country without having to be more well-informed than “experts” lol 2). They told me that the DMV submits my address to Medicare. WRONG. Social security is who submits address changes to Medicare. 3) he told me my benefits would be reinstated in 2026. WRONG. my benefits will only be paid back out if my income falls below the monthly limit set by the government for working people with disabilities 4) he told me I could update my address with Medicare online. WRONG. it can only be updated by notifying social security. Positive aspects of the experience: 1) they took me early before appointment time slot even started 2) they did update my address with social security when I logged into my account and checked. However it remains to be seen if it’ll get updated with Medicare…

Waited over an hour there. Only to have some girl walk in there who said she had a meeting to go to right after this and she couldn’t wait. Dude at the window took her right in. But I had to ask why I had to wait so long and kept getting skipped. Then the guy was so rude and decided to give me a phone appointment which I had already and I was told to go to the office to drop off papers!!!! Dude kept repeating “well if you look behind you there’s so many people here and we don’t have the man power to do everything today.” So you helped some chick who came in all flirty but brushed me and other people off with that lame excuse.

I’ve never had an issue going to this location. Except for one recently which was about my son’s documents. Although everyone has always been nice on the phone and in person. I was there on 3/13/26 with an appt @ 10:15. I was seen on time and the caseworker was extremely friendly, patient and took the time to look over my son’s case rather than rush through it. She was detailed on what I needed to bring additionally. The only issue I had was: I dropped of the extra documents on 03/18. I called about 2 weeks later for an update. Long story short they had not received my documents. Partially my fault for not writing the social on the documents. However, since the envelope I was given to put them in had his social I assumed that was okay. The person on the phone Mr. Beltran, went above and beyond to make sure I had a piece of mind that the documents were found. Thank you for being kind and taking the time to do that for my son. During these unpredictable hard times it’s difficult to find someone who indeed wants to help specially those who need assistance. The only downfall is that when you call, there are days that are quick and some where you have to wait long. However, I’m glad they recently have a system where they will call you back instead of sitting there waiting. This was great for me because I work 8:30-5. And their hrs are 9-4.

social Security took my whole income tax money over something that I never approved of when I was a kid. I did a forgiveness letter. It's been past 90 days have not heard nothing back from no one. Is there any anyone that can help me with this?
