You could do walk in, but for ease and simplicity, it would be best to have an appointment in advance. Especially for complex type of matters. For a Friday afternoon, 3 pm it is fairly empty in the lobby. Both staff and Security are helpful and polite so long as you act with the same courtesy. If you don’t know or are unsure of anything, just say you’re unsure and or have no idea of whatever it is your purpose is. being prideful and on an ego trip only gets an immediate ticket of removal from the premises.

My mother had an appointment that took almost 2 months to get. We arrived only 10 minutes late due to a medical visit—she is currently sick—and they completely refused to help us. We politely asked if we could wait or be seen later that day, but they said the only option was to call and make a new appointment. Calling them is nearly impossible. Wait times are over 2 hours, and sometimes they just pick up and hang up. It’s extremely frustrating. What makes this even worse is that this office previously lost my mom’s documents, which delayed her case for 6 months. After all that time, they finally found the paperwork, but now they won’t even try to help fix the issue in person. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and the employee claimed she was the supervisor but wasn’t wearing a badge. She gave the name “Ms. McKinnon,” but there was no way to verify who she actually was. When I asked how to file a complaint, I was told to write it down and leave it in a drop box—which honestly doesn’t seem like it goes anywhere. This office shows zero accountability and no empathy, especially for people dealing with health issues and important documents. If you can avoid this location, do it. It will save you time, stress, and frustration.

This SSA location is awesome, I will give more than 5/5 if there’s an option I will do 10/10, Mrs. Kim is such a wonderful person, very respectful, she is a good listener and advise you the right thing ti do, guide you till te end of appointment, very warm person, appointment is a must. Thank you Mrs. Kim you made it easy for us. We have an excellent experience.

My father is the payee and is collecting payments for my disabled sister while she is living with me in California. This has been going on for years! When asked he would send partial payments or still nothing at all. I have been here 5 times since 2023 and these guys don't care and won't do anything..I now have to contact the FBI and local police. The place is empty yet they want you to have an appointment. Multiple security guards just stand around and try to act tough. This is bureaucracy at its finest. My window representative was Mr. Garcia and as expected he never followed-up.

All they tell you is we have 15 minutes to talk in this appointment nothing gets solved and all they say is sorry i cant help you with that . I turn my paystubs every month but when they need to go through them all they say is theres to many i cant go through all these ! Well you guys are always asking for them and when i dont turn them in you guys are quick to cut the payment…
